Sharing my thought and insight after taking training of LVMH
I am glad to be certificated by LVMH. It is about creation & branding.
LVMH is a best known brand and controls 60 subsidiaries including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, Hennessy, Moët & Chandon, Sephora, Bulgari &Tiffany & co.
As the partner in automotive industry, I would like to look at other field and check back to myself.
Why and how they can sell the product with an extravagant price and for the same item?
The value of luxury is always greater than its own function.

1. Creativity to actualization.
There’s a process for Creativity and it starts with research, collection, experiment and execution. In luxury industry they give a romantic description. Designer is searching their muse anywhere; sometimes they could get lost. Experiment allow us to try and error, we are helping design to have perfect landing on reality.
2.Brand DNA
Luxury focus on find brand DNA to get rid of comparison with other.
Knowing who you are and sticking to it.
Apply the DNA to brand code, which could be color, shape, print, or the way of using material.
3. Customer behavior and business outlook
LVMH also has business outlook, there are trends:
Lady first, which means the future are the females who normally are a key decision maker in the family (especially nowadays).
West to East transferred. 33% luxury products were bought by Chinese people in 2019; it will raise to 46-48% by 2025.
Sustainability is still a key, Youth will not be gullible and they will ask questions.
Ownership is not always needed. Rental luxury will be dominant because the youth wants to feel it with unique experience and does not feel the necessity to own it.
We used to lock our door to focus on improving OEE, PPM, delivery performance, CPK & PPK and so much more. These things are KPI for internal operation.
More than that, knowing the branding gives us the liberty to see the other horizon.
Fortunately, we are living in this modern world to allow individuals to have our own vocal. The new mode will be promotion on line and integrate final operation off line.
Branding, SEO, content writing is on demand now.
Never ask what position the company can offer you, ask yourself how you can promote the industry and how you can contribute towards it. And we are doing so.
